Shattered

Shattered black, In the mists of time
Runs the cruelest song in Clime.
Strange and intercloven rhyme
That blended, mingled, linked with mine.

Blackened, broken, Streets of glass,
That hurried on too soon, crass,
As ladies of some ancient class,
Run, heavy feet on blackened grass.

And there, alone, chained, held was I,
With fancies of a darker sky
Which lengthened, as the days went by,
Impure and blackened with a lie.

So, there alone, Lay I so lame.
Till one alone to save me came;
One who the darkness could not maim
On me, from out the world laid claim.

Now, after him, runs stumbling me.
To carry, chosen heart his key.
And I, though stumbling, his shall be
And one day, carried, cross the sea.

There too, shall I of his belong,
To join in the eternal song.
Not once to worry on what has gone,
No more to stumble, no more to wrong.

So here I work, and here I sing;
When on his chosen ears truth ring.
And here, within, I claim him king.
As he chose me, his truth to bring.

You like "V for Vendetta"?

Your fantasy story sounds fascinating, let me know when I can read it!

Haven't watched "V for Vendetta" because the people I know who saw it told me there were no redeeming qualities to it...

The pics on Brian's blog of you are really neat! I like the ones of you in the jungle and you somewhat sideways (didn't know how else to describe it) best!
Hope your week has been going well!
Miss you!

Hey girl, sorry I wasn't here when you called today. I've been working over at Derek's Mom's house trying to get Brittany's quilt finished for her birthday next week! Hope to talk to you soon! Miss you!
