Truth, a constant
We cannot see, create
Or even start to plan.
It is a reason,
Not determined by
The philosophy of man.
Not fluid or a
Thing to speculate.
It is unchanged,
Not weathered,
Not debased.
Not to be molded,
Not to be made,
Solid it stands,
Unafraid.
Tremble before it
Stand amazed.
It is truth and
Cannot be unmade.

Knee-Deep
Down on the shore
where the waves swing
Wild and free,
Where the wet soft sand
Sinks soft beneath my feet.
You hold your arm to me
And I concur
and walk with you
Where wind and waves
confer upon the sand.
Instead of waves we're
Wading in the night.
Not long before the
Day breaks with the light.
And there we walk and,
Deep in thought, we talk.
Wonder at each other and
The Lord and all he is.
Now look at me
And ponder I am she,
Who longs to follow
Through the night with thee.
And look for hope,
Within my eyes is trust,
And I find light, within
Your eyes is truth and
Truth from He who loves
Both you and me and will,
In life, delight
to see us go.
So down along
Where wave and water
Meet, where all the
Talks and tales and tours
We've had will
Follow in our past...
Knee-deep, we
Wander towards
Reality.
where the waves swing
Wild and free,
Where the wet soft sand
Sinks soft beneath my feet.
You hold your arm to me
And I concur
and walk with you
Where wind and waves
confer upon the sand.

Shattered
Shattered black, In the mists of time
Runs the cruelest song in Clime.
Strange and intercloven rhyme
That blended, mingled, linked with mine.
Blackened, broken, Streets of glass,
That hurried on too soon, crass,
As ladies of some ancient class,
Run, heavy feet on blackened grass.
And there, alone, chained, held was I,
With fancies of a darker sky
Which lengthened, as the days went by,
Impure and blackened with a lie.
So, there alone, Lay I so lame.
Till one alone to save me came;
One who the darkness could not maim
On me, from out the world laid claim.
Now, after him, runs stumbling me.
To carry, chosen heart his key.
And I, though stumbling, his shall be
And one day, carried, cross the sea.
There too, shall I of his belong,
To join in the eternal song.
Not once to worry on what has gone,
No more to stumble, no more to wrong.
So here I work, and here I sing;
When on his chosen ears truth ring.
And here, within, I claim him king.
As he chose me, his truth to bring.
Runs the cruelest song in Clime.
Strange and intercloven rhyme
That blended, mingled, linked with mine.
Blackened, broken, Streets of glass,
That hurried on too soon, crass,
As ladies of some ancient class,
Run, heavy feet on blackened grass.

Reflection
I reflect, within my mind,
On all the things I've done and tried...
Of all the joys and all the pains,
All the losses and All the gains.
I reflect on things long gone,
And wonders that return ere long;
On all the worlds that I have seen,
And ponder on what might have been.
And deep, within my outstretched thoughts,
I ponder on the "And have nots;"
In which my dreams and my delays
Trot past in long successive ways.
"And what now" my thoughts in waves
Return with shovels, dig up graves.
And chasing after untried doors,
Find within unsought rewards.
So here's the comfort, here the pain,
Of living in a world untame,
And here's the challenge, "gaze at stars,"
For who will win, in our hearts wars.
On all the things I've done and tried...
Of all the joys and all the pains,
All the losses and All the gains.
I reflect on things long gone,
And wonders that return ere long;
On all the worlds that I have seen,
And ponder on what might have been.
And deep, within my outstretched thoughts,
I ponder on the "And have nots;"
In which my dreams and my delays
Trot past in long successive ways.
"And what now" my thoughts in waves
Return with shovels, dig up graves.
And chasing after untried doors,
Find within unsought rewards.
So here's the comfort, here the pain,
Of living in a world untame,
And here's the challenge, "gaze at stars,"
For who will win, in our hearts wars.
Small World
Did you know,
the world seemed small?
Then I began to grow,
Until the world seemed so large
That I felt smaller still.
And then I shrank
Within myself,
to look for
Somewhere Safe.
Then I was
Called out into
Life, And I
Remembered Grace.
the world seemed small?
Then I began to grow,
Until the world seemed so large
That I felt smaller still.
And then I shrank
Within myself,
to look for
Somewhere Safe.
Then I was
Called out into
Life, And I
Remembered Grace.
